Geneva Mae (Bird) Sixkiller was born April 3rd, 1951 in Adair County to Sunday and Narcie (Crittenden) Bird. Her pride and joy in life was her family. She was blessed with four children, Cecil "CJ", Heather, Genese, and Cecelia along with many grandbabies. Geneva had a love for life and everyone around her; she never met a stranger. She held a heart of gold that always seen the good in everyone. Her door was open anytime for a visit or a warm meal. A master in the kitchen, she could make a meal out of nothing, but nothing could trump her famous frybread. However, her snack of choice was a honey bun and she never turned down a yummy buffet, especially Western Sizzlin'. In her free time, Geneva did beautiful bead work and loved to play her guitar. She would be found playing at gospel singing in the area any time she had the chance. Her favorite artist of all time was Loretta Lynn. She also spent time "donating" the casino. She enjoyed hanging out there with her best friend and sister, Helen, drinking coffee and watching her boys, the Pumpkin Hollow Boys. They were their biggest fans. She and Helen were the best of friends. It didn't matter if they were stopping by a garage sale or setting around with a cup of coffee; they just enjoyed being together. Geneva was called to her heavenly home on Wednesday, May 10th, 2017 in Tahlequah, OK at the age of 66. Her love and compassion for others will be missed by all who knew her.

She is proceded in death by her parents, one brother, Little John Youngpuppy and two sisters, Junita Mae James and Ella Mae Snell.

Those left to cherish her memory include one son, Cecil "CJ" Sixkiller and wife Teresa of Colcord, OK, three daughters, Heather Terrapin and Fiancé Jordan Akins of Siloam Springs, AR, Genese Younger husband Kenneth of Chance, OK and Cecelia Stone and husband Duane of Roland, OK, two brothers, Wesley Bird of Watts, OK and Leo Youngpuppy of Watts, OK and four sisters, Helen Stopp of Proctor, OK, Reba Bird of Watts, OK, JoAnn Fields of Kansas, OK and Leona Crittenden of Kansas, OK. Her legacy lives on in her twelve grandchildren, Trenton Sixkiller, Bailey Sixkiller, Nicholas Oaks, Timothy Oaks, Ariel Ballinger, Mark Ballinger, Sydney Arneecher, Stevie Chewy, Adrian Davis, Taren Davis, Ashley Davis and Brittany Davis, four great-grandchildren, Keeton Chewy, Zeke Proctor, Brayden Proctor and Brett Proctor as well as many nieces, nephews and a host of friends and loved ones.
